Prospective Families

Five Questions for Prospective Families

  1. Is your family committed to Christ?  Christ Classical Academy believes that there is an objective standard for truth, and that standard is found in God’s Word.  Through a signed agreement between the school and the parent, CCA operates in a covenant relationship with parents who are committed to their biblically ordained role as the primary instructors of their children and are seeking us to partner with them in raising thoughtful, intelligent leaders who will impact their culture for Christ.
  2. Are you committed to well-behaved children?  Our standards within the school are loving and structured.  Children who throw fits or are disobedient, dishonest, or unkind are lovingly, but firmly, disciplined.   CCA students also wear school uniforms so that they understand this is a time for learning.  If you value a partnership with a school that will uphold high standards, your family will do well at CCA.
  3. Do you value academics and a Christian work ethic?  Our school is generally recognized for the academic standards we uphold, the rigorous nature of our curriculum, and our accelerated pace of learning.  What expectations characterize your family?  If you are serious about finding an educational partner who will work with you in preparing your child to think critically, reason soundly, and love learning for a lifetime, we invite you consider CCA as your child’s educational choice.
  4. Do you value a broad-based education or do you see education as a relatively generic commodity, with slight distinctions?  From our use of the Trivium to the study of the great books, training in formal logic and rhetoric, and emphasis on writing, we are different than most schools. If you are attracted to a time-honored educational approach that reaches beyond the norm to enrich the minds and spirits of students, then you should consider CCA.
  5. Does your family love learning and books?  The most consistent success factor for children at CCA is the learning environment at home.  Families who read and love to learn send children to our school because they want the world of language, books, history, science, and math to be an integrated whole.  They want their children to use their love of knowledge to explore and seek truth, and our parents recognize that this desire is ignited and nurtured through the classical Christian educational approach offered at Christ Classical Academy.
