Mission:

The Christ Classical Academy Film Society is an after school organization whose mission is to enthusiastically pursue, cultivate, and promote the art and science of film through examination and open discussion. The Society will provide students with the opportunity to develop critical thinking through viewing and analyzing feature-length films. The Society’s principle objective is to observe and discuss Christian thematic elements in modern American cinema, and to have a little fun while doing so.

Objectives/Outcomes:

The principle objective of the Society is to utilize the powerful medium of film through the promotion of creativity, introspection, and exploration. The Society will be organized under a traditional club structure where officers will be elected and responsible for choosing semestrial film genres and dominating themes. Officer elections will be conducted at the first meeting of spring 2014. Officerial positions include the following: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Descriptions of responsibilities will be delegated at that time.

Club Logistics:

The Film Society meets every third Friday of the month. It is held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Valladares at 6:30pm. Club fees are to cover the refreshments at each meeting. Schedule coming soon!
